Every workshop now comes with a free welcome drink, made a few streets away by the people behind Behind This Wall.

Tufting is a three hour activity that starts with a slightly nervous room. People arrive not knowing anyone, not knowing what they are doing, and not entirely sure they should have booked.
Twenty minutes in, that has usually sorted itself out. We thought we could speed it up.
So from now on, every guest who walks through our doors gets a welcome drink on us, made by Sonic Tonics.

Alex and Charlotte run Behind This Wall, a basement bar in Hackney that people talk about in a particular tone of voice. After more than a decade of experimenting behind that bar, they built something nobody had done before: a canned drink combining premium spirits with cold pressed CBD, calibrated to shift your mood rather than just get you drunk.
No artificial additives. No unnecessary sugar. No shortcuts. Handmade in Hackney Wick, a few streets from our studio.
That last part matters to us. We would rather work with people we can walk to.

Hibiscus and JalapeñoSpicy margarita territory, with floral tequila and a proper jalapeño kick.7% vol, 10mg CBD
Ginger and CardamomWarm rum, ginger and citrus, with a smooth mellow finish.4.5% vol, 10mg CBD
Fig and VioletFloral and bittersweet, and completely alcohol free.0% vol, 10mg CBD
The alcohol lifts, the CBD rounds it off. Together they find the line.

Tufting is loud, physical and repetitive in a way that is genuinely relaxing once you stop worrying about getting it wrong. Having something in your hand while you pick colours and talk over your design is a small thing that changes the tone of the room.
It also means we can offer the alcohol free option without it feeling like a consolation prize. The Fig and Violet is a good drink in its own right, and plenty of people pick it over the other two.

Your welcome drink is included with every workshop booking, and it is waiting at the studio.
Come for the rugs. Stay for the drinks.
