A whole design studio came in to tuft. The results, unsurprisingly, went hard.

We host a lot of team building sessions, but there's something special about a room full of designers let loose with a tufting gun.
This week the team from Studio Moross came down to our Hackney Wick studio for a private team building workshop. Being designers, obviously nobody turned up with a plain circle. Every single person brought a design that was completely their own, and the wall of finished pieces at the end was genuinely one of the best line-ups we've seen.
Turns out spending your days thinking about colour and form translates pretty well to yarn.
The whole group came in with a proper eye for it. Bold colour combinations, weird shapes, characters, lettering, the lot. Some went graphic and clean, some went fully chaotic, and it all worked. Watching a team who already think visually pick their 115 colours and commit to a design was a real treat.
And they locked in. A few hours of focused, heads-down making, guns going, music on, the odd break to see what everyone else was up to. That's exactly the energy a good team session runs on.

It's your team, our studio, and everyone making their own rug from scratch across a few hours. No experience needed, all materials included, and everyone walks out with something they actually made.
We run private sessions for groups of 8 to 30 people. You get the studio, full guidance from our team the whole way through, 115 colours of our own recycled yarn, and cut pile and loop pile to play with. People design something personal, or something team-related, or something completely daft. All of it works.
It's hands-on, it's creative, and crucially it isn't another round of drinks or an escape room. Your team leaves with a real object and a genuinely good afternoon behind them.

Here's the bit we're proud of. Every single person left buzzing. Not "yeah that was nice," but full marks across the board, the whole team walking out happy with something they made themselves.
That's the thing about tufting as a team activity. It's rare to get everyone, regardless of how "creative" they think they are, equally into it. But the gun is easy to pick up, the results are immediate, and there's something about watching your own design fill in with yarn that gets absolutely everyone.
Thanks to Studio Moross for being a brilliant group. Come back any time.
